What we do

A full-service electrical contractor working in San Juan County: solar, small-scale wind and micro-hydro, grid-connected and off-grid, battery storage for primary and back-up power, and Level 2 EV charging.

Solar design & installation

We design and install solar PV systems sized to your property and your annual use, on rooftops, ground mounts and pole mounts. Grid-tied systems connect to OPALCO for net metering; customers tell us we take care of the OPALCO and county paperwork along the way.

  • Site visit and system design
  • Rooftop, ground-mount and pole-mount arrays
  • Panels from partners including Maxeon and REC
  • Grid-tied net metering with OPALCO

Battery storage

Battery systems for primary and back-up power. Paired with solar, a battery stores what your array makes during the day for use at night, and keeps critical loads running when the grid goes down.

  • FranklinWH Certified Installer
  • Fortress Power systems
  • Back-up for critical loads: lights, fridge and freezer
  • Program when the battery or the grid powers your home

EV charging

For electric vehicle owners, we install Level 2 charging systems at home, including the electrical work to support them.

  • Level 2 home chargers
  • Installed by licensed electricians
  • Pairs well with solar and storage
Residential electrical

Small-scale wind & micro-hydro

Small-scale wind & micro-hydro

Not every site is a solar site. Where the wind or water is right, we design and install small-scale wind and micro-hydro projects, grid-connected or off-grid.

  • Small-scale wind turbines
  • Micro-hydro systems
  • Grid-connected or off-grid

Off-grid power

Many island properties sit beyond the reach of power lines. We design complete off-grid systems with generation and battery storage for cabins and homes.

  • Solar, wind or hydro generation
  • Battery storage for when the sun is down
  • Outer-island projects
